*Post 3 of our series ahead of the International Digital Energy Expo 2026, Shenzhen, 15 to 17 September, booth 1G46.*
Yesterday we described the private AI platform we will be showing at the fair. Today, the part most AI projects skip.
Most AI rollouts fail the same way. A good platform, a launch email, and three months later five people use it. The engineers who were curious on day one are back to their old habits. The Vietnam plant never heard about it. The Mexico office found their own tool. Nobody wrote down what data may go in, so either everything does or nothing does.
For an energy manufacturer with plants in several countries, this is not a small loss. The point of one private AI platform is that the whole company works the same way, on the same data, under the same rules. That only happens if people are trained on it, on their own jobs, in their own language.
Four things that make adoption stick
1. AI in one afternoon, in plain words. What these models really are, where they shine, where they get things wrong, and how to catch it. No hype. In English, French or Chinese, on site or remote.
2. Train on the job, not on slides. Sales learns on your quotations. Sourcing learns on your suppliers. Quality learns on your test records and customer complaints. Every session runs on the assistants and tools we built for that team, with their real cases. They use it the same day, and the first useful result lands before the session ends.
3. One page of rules everyone can follow. An AI usage charter written with you: what data goes in, what never does, when a human signs off, who may do what. It ends the guesswork for your staff, and it is the document your clients and auditors will ask to see. For a battery or PV maker exporting to Europe, that question is coming.
4. Keep it alive. Champions in each team and each plant. Office hours. A shared prompt library that grows with the company. Usage reviews, so you can see who adopted and who did not, per team and per site. New joiners onboarded, everyone refreshed when the tools change.
Why this belongs on a factory floor conversation
The shop floor already runs on standard work, training records and sign-offs. AI should be no different. When the same discipline that governs a work instruction governs how a planner uses an assistant, adoption stops being a leap of faith and becomes a process. That is also why we deliver the training on your live platform, never on a demo account: your people learn on the data they will use tomorrow.
See it at booth 1G46
Come and try the assistants yourself. Ask them a real question from your job, then ask us how we would train your team on them, plant by plant.
