How digital is your energy business? A two-minute check, and see you at booth 1G46

*Post 6 of our series ahead of the International Digital Energy Expo 2026, Shenzhen, 15 to 17 September, booth 1G46. The show opens tomorrow.*

Over the past five days we have written about the backbone we build for energy manufacturers: one ERP from cell to invoice, an MES that puts every test result on the serial, a private AI platform for the whole company, and the training that makes people actually use it. Tomorrow we start showing it live.

Before you come, or if you cannot, here is a way to find out where you stand in two minutes.

Eight questions, one score

The Energy readiness check asks eight quick questions about your ERP, your shop-floor traceability, your compliance and your use of AI. No form to fill in first, no sales call attached. You get a readiness score, a band (Starting, Building or Ready) and three concrete next steps on screen, right away.

The questions are the ones we ask in the first hour of any discovery:

  • What is driving change right now? Growth, a new plant or acquisition, or a customer or regulator asking for something you cannot yet produce.
  • How many sites or legal entities do you run, and is it one ERP for the whole company, one per site, or Excel plus an accounting package?
  • Where do local invoicing and tax rules live: handled by hand, in a separate tool per country, or inside the ERP?
  • If a customer returns a unit, can you pull its full build and test record? In seconds at serial level, on paper in days, or not at all?
  • Where do capacity, internal resistance, hi-pot and end-of-line results live: on the tester, in a spreadsheet, or on the unit in the MES?
  • The EU battery passport and carbon-footprint declarations: never heard, heard with no plan, a plan with no data yet, or data already captured on the line?
  • AI in the company: personal accounts, banned, a company tool not connected to your data, or a private platform connected to ERP and email?

Why we built it

We do not start a project by selling software. We start by diagnosing how the operation actually runs, then fit the system to that reality: standard where standard works, custom only where it earns its keep. The check is the first two minutes of that diagnosis, in your hands rather than ours. Whatever your score, the three next steps are real ones, and the first is usually cheap.

See you at booth 1G46

From tomorrow, Tuesday 15 September, through Thursday 17 September, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). What is running at the booth all day:

  • The live MES demo. Scan a serial, get the full history and cell-to-module-to-pack genealogy in seconds, including a unit that failed, went to rework, and shipped once it passed.
  • The private AI assistant. Ask it a real question from your own operation and watch it draft the answer for a human to approve.
  • One Odoo for the whole company. One quotation becoming a project, purchases, work orders, serials, a shipment and an invoice, then the same order in a second company with a different currency and invoice format.

Bring your score from the check, and we will spend the fifteen minutes on your three next steps instead of on slides.
