We leverage Odoo standard tools for customization, without modifying the core unlike traditional partners. This means our development are immediately portable to the next version.
There may be adjustments on the target version, but the process is smooth. With this method, we can migrate on each release, smoothly.
Using FlyHigh Modules.
Over the years, we developped 100+ modules for our customers, which are maintained and ported on each versions of Odoo. By using our standard modules, you do not need to worry about migration, we do it for you.
This requires an active subscription to FlyHigh.
For modules which are conflicting with new versions of Odoo (in case Odoo replaces an existing feature), we provide a workaround (data migration).
Using Traditional Migration.
When we take over projects with historical developments, we often become the maintainers of previously developped modules. Depending on the complexity, our developers can port the modules to new versions.
When possible, we will recommend re-implementing the same features either with Odoo Studio or our existing FlyHigh Modules, to avoid technical debt.
What is new in latest versions ?
Existing customers or new prospects are always interested to know what these changes are on various applications, to know if they can benefit from the new features. Each year around September or October, Odoo Experience will take place in Belgium, anouncing the a new major release of the system.
We put together a simple live dashboard which keeps track of the new release. This will remain updated based on Odoo Release notes.
